 Even if you have no money to invest up front, I want to share with you how you can get Appointment Scheduled leads. Here are the details and some extra tips:

Step 1: Identify an individual who knows you and trusts your sales ability and honesty. This could be a family member with some spare time or a telemarketer or sales professional with whom you have worked in the past.

Step 2: Offer to pay this person $50.00 for each location that you sell from a lead he or she generates; have him or her sign an agreement.  Make sure this person understands he or she gets paid when you get paid. Email me if you would like a copy of an agreement to use for this purpose.

Step 3: Go to the Agent Info Center then”Lead Wizard” where you create a calling list for free. (Talk to your ISO Support rep about a program to get 1,000 free records for every sale you submit that month.) Now upload this spreadsheet to Google Docs and share it with your telemarketer so that you can both edit the sheet. Also, make several columns for information about calls made and one to enter a “Yes” or “No” indicating whether a sale was made.

Step 4: Go through this list carefully and remove any records you do not want called.  Only add 100 records at a time all in the same area so your leads are not spread all over the place.

Step 5: Provide this person with any times you will not be available each week so that you are not over-scheduled. Then set a maximum number of leads per day with which to start. I would say five leads per day would be awesome! If this person can set you up with five leads per day, you will probably be talking to at least three new business owners each day. That is a recipe for success in this business. One last tip: If you are using a family member or friend, make sure this person knows you will not be upset if he or she doesn’t like the job. I would even recommend having two separate people if you can, each calling his or her own list. Not everyone will like calling businesses and scheduling appointments. It may take you several months to find just the right person. When you do, take care of them. A person working in this capacity can help you build your business in a way that no one else can!
