Like you, I have often made new year’s resolutions that last a few days. Over the years I have noticed a simple pattern. The reason these resolutions fail is that I haven’t really made a decision, instead I have made a wish. “I wish I went to the gym every day” or “I wish I called 10 more prospects per day” or “I wish I produced more content for recruiting.” All of these “resolutions” are lacking one important element that represents the other half of the decision.
