Thank you for your interest in becoming an agent on my sales team. You have probably already noticed that 70%+ of the training resources on my website require a 5 digit agent ID to access. That is because you must sign up using the starter packet below to gain access to these resources. We are always looking for self motivated, sales professionals to join our team! Once you get your agent ID, you will have full access at no charge to all of my training including our training website. Here are the steps to sign up:

Step 1: Download the Agent Starter Packet and Print it out CLICK HERE

Step 2: Watch the embedded video below for a page by page walk through of the starter packet.

Step 3: Fax or Email this form to me at 814-217-6795 or email james@multi-merchant.com It will take approximately 2 business days to get you approved as a new agent.

Step 4: Once you are approved, you will receive an email with information including your 5 digit agent ID number. Once you receive this information, use your Agent ID number to log into the 20 Day Jump Start Program and start working your way through the training resources.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is my compensation different if I sign up through Multi-Merchant Processing or go directly through North American Bancard? No, your compensation is exactly the same and if you go through my website, I will make all of my training resources available to you at no charge. My profit comes from NAB’s cut. They give me a small percentage of the profit they get on each sale you make. Your compensation is not effected by going through our company as the recruiter, we are simply added as a contact on your account so that you will be able to call or email me anytime with questions.

What is the best way to contact James Shepherd for support? Sending me an email to james@multi-merchant.com is always the best way to reach me. I am out in the field selling just about every day and I get dozens of calls from new agents and active agents, so keep in mind that if you are not yet an active agent and call me, it may take a day or two to return your call. Once you are an active agent, I do my best to return your calls quickly as they come directly to me in the field, but keep in mind that all emails go directly to my phone in the field and I am able to return those much faster.

What is Multi-Merchant Processing? This is simply the brand name for our local company and it is a registered agent of North American Bancard. If you sign up as an independent agent using the starter packet above, you would not have any affiliation with Multi-Merchant Processing, but rather you would be a direct independent agent of NAB just like we are, with the ability to grow your own business separate from ours. Our company would simply be listed as the recruiter on our account so that we would be compensated for the training and support that we are going to offer you.

How extensive is my support team if I sign up? Here are list of resources that will be made available to you when you start.
1. Online resources such as blog articles, videos and the 20 Day Jump Start Program on this site.

2. NAB University at North American Bancard’s online agent portal that gives you detailed training on paperwork and other administrative tasks.

3. I will personally provide phone and email support to you. I have successfully built a processing business from scratch and I am still actively selling in the field. I will use my own personal experience to answer any questions you have.

4. NAB provides you with an ISO Support rep to help with questions about paperwork, pricing, etc. as well as free, 24 hour tech support, customer support and a statement analysis department.

5. You will have an assigned National Mgr. at NAB that has extensive, high level industry experience and can help you with large deals and tough questions.

What if I have bad credit, will I not be approved? Most agents who apply are approved and it is free to apply, however, if you have a recent bankruptcy, major credit problems or criminal charges on your record, this may effect NAB’s decision to approve you as an agent. Our advice is always to give it a shot since it is free anyway and the odds are you will be approved.

How much do your agents make? Agent’s who sell full time (30 to 40 hours per week in the field) make 12 to 20 new sales per month depending on market and sales ability. These sales pay an average of $275 in up front compensation and $27.00+ per month in residual compensation. So, once you have 100 accounts actively processing, which could take anywhere from 5 or 6 months to 18 months depending on your time commitment and sales ability, you would be making $2,700 per month in residual compensation plus any up front money from new sales.

The actual numbers can vary quite a bit, but these are the overall averages based on historic data from our agents. Keep in mind that some sales pay as much as $1,000 in up front compensation and residual can vary from $10.00 per month to well over $200 per month on one account, but again, the numbers provided above represent an average.
